4. ZACH KING
Zach King has taken traditional entertainment and transformed it for the digital arena. Known as the “Vine (as in the social app) Magician,” King creates videos using what he’s dubbed “digital sleight of hand” to grab an audience’s attention and leave them wondering, “How’d he do that?” He is a new storyteller for a new generation. Through wildly imaginative scenarios that often use everyday items and situations, King and his team have pushed the limits and amassed an impressive following on all social sites – more than 18 million on Instagram and 3 million on Facebook. He teaches audiences how to use social media to tell a story, connect with fans and turn traditional media upside down.
Starting in his college dorm room, Zach began to grow a worldwide audience with film editing tutorials and fun, energy filled short films. After several viral hits on YouTube, Zach began creating content for social platforms Vine and Instagram and found even larger success. His work has landed him features onThe Ellen DeGeneres Show, Good Morning America and Larry King Now and in the publications Adweek and People. He was a contender on the Amazing Race with his wife, Rachel.
Zach’s creativity, passion for people and dedication has led him to create a successful brand and paved the way this past year to expand to new horizons and begin a multimedia production company. Together, Zach and his team create content for millions of fans as well as companies such as Walt Disney Pictures, Justin Bieber, Nike, Coca-Cola and many more.
In 2016, Zach won Best Vine Artist at the Shorty Awards.
