Jesse Joyce started his comedy career in Pittsburgh in 1998. In 2001 he made the move to New York City and has earned a reputation as a rising star on the comedy scene. Jesse is known for his performances loved by crowds around the world, and for his writing style admired and respected by comedians at every level. Jesse is currently a regular guest on @midnight with Chris Hardwick on Comedy Central. He has appeared on the inaugural season of Comedy Central’s Live At Gotham, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno’s Pass The Mic, has been a top 20 semi-finalist on NBC’s Last Comic Standing. He can frequently be seen on History Channel’s I Love The 1880’s and RedEye with Greg Gutfeld on FoxNews.
As a writer, Joyce has worked on the last 10 Comedy Central Roasts – from Flavor Flav to Justin Bieber as well as having written for @midnight on Comedy Central, two seasons of The Burn with Jeff Ross and Comedy Underground with Dave Attell also for Comedy Central, The BET Awards hosted by Chris Rock, The TBS Roast of Cheech and Chong, He has won two American Advertising Awards, and most notably wrote the 85th Annual Academy Awards hosted by Seth MacFarlane.
As a touring stand up, he’s performed in 15 countries on 4 continents from Saudi Arabia to Malaysia, done shows for the troops in Iraq, performed to sold out crowds in theaters and clubs across North America while staying a fixture on the New York comedy scene and one time did a show from the back of a pickup truck for 400 drunk prison guards in a field in Altoona Pennsylvania.
