There is a great power in the number of one. Whether it’s that one split second you decide to send that last text while driving, that one quick decision to join the crowd and bully someone else to make yourself feel better or that one horrible tragedy that affects hundreds of people’s lives, the Power of One can change everything. With so many challenges that include Bullying, Stress, Suicide, Divorce, Questioning Sexuality, Addiction, Negative Coping and Mental Illness it’s easy to doubt that any HOPE exists, but 25-year-old author and speaker Melissa Ann Hopely is bringing light to that doubt. Melissa has been featured on numerous T.V and radio stations, shows and programs such as an NBC special on Bullying, FM Station Q102, the CW’s “Speak Up” and NPR’s WHYY Philadelphia station. She offers a funny and inspiring audio/visual show in which she shares her personal journey, the resilient stories of some amazing people and many emPOWERing messages of HOPE.
