Mikki Hommel
Mikki is the siren of New York’s Lower East Side, a soulful singer-songwriter whose voice has been captivating audiences in Alphabet City since 2009.
Mikki’s improvised songs show off her quick wit and sharp tongue. Charming the crowds with songs created from just a few audience suggestions, Mikki has showcased her music improv at venues including The Village Lantern, Karma Lounge, Rearview Comedy, The New York Comedy Club, The Broadway Comedy Club and last year’s New York Musical Improv Festival.
Since Mikki started her journey, she’s held residencies in New York venues including Pianos, The National Underground and Googie’s Lounge. Mikki has also played at: Bowery Electric, The Rockwood Music Hall, The Bitter End, Arlene’s Grocery, Union Hall, Caffe Vivaldi, The Red Lion, Kenny’s Castaways, Sullivan Hall, Perch Cafe, Alphabet Lounge, Bar on A, The Local 269, Fat Baby, and Ella Lounge. She has opened for artists: Ari Hest at The Rivoli in Canada, also for Eric Hutchinson with Graffiti6 at The Heirloom Arts Theatre and solo for Eric Hutchinson at The Birchmere.
